Welcome to Lucena City Schools Division!
It is an honor and privilege to serve as Superintendent of the Schools Division of Lucena City, where we take pride in our shared responsibility, collaboration and advocacy for the success of our schools. Our Division is committed to bringing out the best in each and every learner and recognizes that strong schools are the foundation of a progressive community.
Our goal is leadership in education.
We know that, in order for our learners to be competitive in their futures, they must be global learners and responsible members of their community and world. We live by the DepED Mission statement to “protect and promote the right of every Filipino to quality, equitable, culture-based, and complete basic education.”
In our SDO, we provide opportunities for learners to excel in and outside of the classroom.
Best practices, researched-based instructional strategies and high expectations are the desired hallmarks of every class, as we try to make learners’ interests and passions the focus of our work. We recognize the importance of experiences beyond the school. Our learners can participate in well-rounded selections of opportunities, be they are in academics, athletics and/or other extra-curricular activities. We believe that our learners’ and human resources’ wellbeing is a priority and therefore, we ensure that school safety and children’s protection are among our priorities to maintain a safe and caring environment for all.
To offer high quality education, we recognize the importance of creating and providing meaningful technological opportunities for learners and teachers. We try to provide learners with the facilities and equipment and seek even more ways of extending their experiences beyond the walls of our classrooms.
We take great pride in offering stewardship.
We recognize our community for responsible partnerships that build strong collaboration and shared responsibility for our youngsters’ education. We are grateful to our LGU officials, PTA Federation and other partners for helping us provide safe and functional facilities where learners and teachers alike can grow, thrive and excel. We invite more responsible and caring stakeholders to be a part of our family!
