Chief-Curriculum Implementation Division
The Curriculum Implementation Division as one of the integral parts in the Schools Division Office of Lucena City is a platform where the conveyance of a responsive, relevant, effective and quality basic education curriculum stands.
The Curriculum Implementation Division is composed of three major sections: the Instructional Management Section; the District Instructional Supervision Section; and the Learning Resource Management Section. These three sections were bounded to continuously develop and improve the curriculum and the delivery system.
Basically, the Instructional Management provides expertise in planning for instruction and expertise in delivering instruction among schools and learning centers. It also provides technical assistance to enhance the educative process in every learning area; assist and promote the conduct of research on curriculum and instruction; and assures the delivery of quality standard-based learning outcomes through constant monitoring and evaluation.
The District Instructional Supervision however, provides relevant and need-based instructional supervision and technical assistance to schools and learning centers on their respective assigned district. They provide an efficient and effective school management, quality delivery of curriculum, formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of school plans, ensure conducive learning environment of schools and learning centers to improve performance of learners.
However, the Learning Resource Management Section ensures increased access to and effective utilization of varied quality learning resources by providing schools and learning centers relevant technical assistance on the management of learning resources and address learning resource gaps in order to improve delivery of the basic education curriculum.
