SDO-Lucena conducts IPED writeshop and validation
SDO- Lucena City, as one of the five (5) Schools Division in CALABARZON which offers Indigenous Peoples Education (IPED), supported the idea of regenerating and enriching the community’s Indigenous Knowledge Systems and Practices (IKSPs) and Indigenous Learning Systems (ILS). With this through Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) IPED focal person conducted an IPED writeshop on the development of Indigenized Lesson Plans for Kindergarten to Grade 3 at Lucena City Teachers and Employees Conference Center (LCTECC), July 5 -7.
The writeshop specifically aimed to equip the teacher-writers with the necessary knowledge and skills in order to develop and produce an IPED localized Daily Lesson Plans (DLP) for K to 3 for third and fourth grading.
Prior to the write-shop proper, Mr. Jaime R. Lacerna discussed the Orientation on the Current Updates for the Localization, Contextualization and Indigenization of IPED DLP for K to 3.
Mrs. Chinita A. Tolentino, PSDS of South District, talked on Diversity of Learners focusing on Learners form Indigenous Group. On the other hand, Mr. Larrywel A. Enriquez, the Division Alternate IPED Focal Person, elaborated the concept of Curriculum Mapping focusing on formulation of Indigenized Learning Objectives and Interfacing National and Community Curriculum.
